Audiodescrição: tecnologia educativa como estratégia metodológica para o ensinar e aprender na perspectiva da educação inclusiva

Abstract

The subject of school inclusion of students with visual impairment is still quite controversial in the educational sphere, since there are innumerable questions generated around inclusive pedagogical practices. However we know that in contemporary times, the teacher has the purpose to mediate and enable the construction of knowledge for all students. Inserted, therefore, within the scope of the inclusive perspective, this research focused on the process of construction of teaching and learning of people with visual impairment. In this way we seek to understand how audiodescription mediates the construction of knowledge by people with visual impairment and / or low vision, as well as for the visionaries. The aim of this research is to understand the use of audio description as a mediation resource in pedagogical practice, trying to identify if the use of this resource contributes to the potential of teaching and learning for students with visual impairment as well as for the visionaries. The research was carried out at the Rocha Pombo State College - Normal EFM, located in the municipality of Capanema - PR. The proposal of this research to broaden the studies on audiodescription had its methodology structured through a qualitative research, through an action research. From the objectives to be achieved, we chose to define the research as exploratory and descriptive. The results demonstrated for educational purposes audiodescription is a new form of Assistive Technology approach, being a communicational accessibility feature that expands the understanding of people with and without visual impairment. Finally, changes in the attitude of the people involved in the educative actions can facilitate this inclusive process.
