Qualidade de fontes superficiais: análise ecotoxicológica das águas de três nascentes na Comunidade de Linha Capanema, Realeza-PR, por meio do Sistema Teste Allium cepa

Abstract

Considering the growing concern with the conservation of natural resources, especially water, this work had the objective of analyzing potential cytotoxic, genotoxic and mutagenic effects in water from superficial springs in the municipality of Realeza, Paraná. In order to do so, samples of water of recovered spring, degraded nascent and protected nascent were collected in the period of August, 2017. The samples were submitted to the bioassay with Allium cepa, to verify the mitotic index, micronucleus presence, chromosomal aberrations and mitosis alterations . The bulbs and seeds of Allium cepa were germinated, in the proportion of three for each sample of collection points and three in distilled water for control parameter. Subsequently, the roots were submitted to the Feulgen protocol with modifications, for the preparation of the slides. Changes were observed in the values of mitotic index, chromosomal alterations and macroscopic changes in the radicles of germination of Allium cepa seeds. At all points of collection it was possible to show toxic, cytotoxic, genotoxic and mutagenic effects in the meristematic cells of Allium cepa roots and roots.
