A potencialidade das oficinas temáticas de ciências no Centro de Convivência em Santa Izabel do Oeste - PR

Abstract

Historically, welfare services have traced a remarkable path in the constitution of rights, especially as regards children and adolescents. The protection services have been intensified in recent years and thus arises the service of coexistence and strengthening of bonds that serves individuals in situations of social vulnerabilities. This research was made in an educational space that offers this service that is called the coexistence Center, with the objective to demonstrate the potentiality of the thematic workshops in science education and defend its insertion in the program as significant learning alternatives, promoting social transformation and strengthening human development through dialogical interaction between different social actors. Different types of instruments and languages forms were used to development of thematic workshops, where the autonomy of those involved was one of the most striking points of this work. One of the instruments used was the question box: speak that I hear and from it, we collect the concerns between a group of participating adolescents. About 75% of the questions obtained were related to the sciences such as a preference. To analyze this material, we used the Discursive Textual Analysis (MORAES, Galiazzi, 2007). For the development of thematic workshops, we used the pedagogical Delizoicov, Angotti, Pernambuco moments (2002) and didactics to the Gasparin’s Historical Critical Pedagogy (2005). From the categorization emerged the themes to develop the thematic workshops. In this work, we going to discuss the categories "The Love Chemistry" and "The Environment", which we present that the scientific field can be allied with social and sentimental issues, with the action of all involved, promoting autonomy. We also look for involve the participants in an active process of building their knowledge and reflection, thus contributing to the decisionmaking and human development of each individual.
