| Resumo: | Atualmente, as escolas enfrentam problemas no processo de ensino e de aprendizagem dos alunos, estando relacionados em sua maioria ao comportamento inadequado de algumas crianças nas diversas atividades promovidas em sala de aula e pela escola. O objetivo geral da pesquisa foi avaliar qual é o conhecimento dos professores da Educação Básica dos anos iniciais do ensino fundamental do município de Pranchita-PR, referente aos alunos avaliados com Transtorno de Déficit de Atenção e Hiperatividade, e se o medicamento utilizado pelos alunos é o Cloridrato de Metilfenidato (Ritalina), bem como, sua função e efeitos biológicos no organismo dos alunos. A pesquisa foi realizada em dois momentos, o levantamento dos diagnósticos médicos dos alunos avaliados e a realização de um questionário com os professores. Ao analisar os diagnósticos dos alunos, constatamos que o profissional que receita o medicamento Ritalina é o neurologista, que é indicada principalmente para TDAH, um dos responsáveis pelas dificuldades de aprendizagem apresentados, atualmente, pelos alunos da educação básica. Dentre os 24 professores efetivos do município, 17 tiveram algum caso diagnosticado de aluno avaliado em sua sala de aula, relatando que as principais características desses alunos foram a agitação, inquietação, agressividade, irritabilidade, desatenção, dentre outros, sendo características de crianças com TDAH, e que suas práticas pedagógicas em sala de aula, de forma diversificada, possibilitará maior aprendizagem por meio de adaptação curricular conforme a necessidade do aluno, com material concreto e visual, ajudando os alunos na inserção escolar e social. Em relação a mudança no desempenho escolar e os efeitos colaterais após a utilização da Ritalina, alguns professores observaram mudanças, sendo que, em relação ao desempenho escolar, os alunos ficaram principalmente mais concentrados e mais calmos, já em relação aos efeitos colaterais, os professores observaram como principais indicativos a sonolência, o abatimento, a náusea e o aumento de peso. Analisando todos os dados obtidos, podemos concluir que o medicamento mais indicado pelos neurologista é a Ritalina, que é indicada principalmente para TDAH e dislexia, que são grandes causadores das dificuldades de aprendizagem apresentados, atualmente, pelos alunos da educação básica. Podemos avaliar também que, os professores dos ensino fundamental dos anos iniciais da rede municipal de Pranchita-PR, conhecem a função do Cloridrato de Metilfenidato (Ritalina), porém, sobre os efeitos biológicos do medicamento no organismo dos alunos que apresentam TDAH, pode-se observar que falta informação para esses professores, e o pouco que eles sabem é na experiência vivida em sala de aula com seus alunos, assim, dificultando na compreensão da doença, do medicamento e das características dos alunos. |
| Abstract/Resumen: | Currently, schools face problems in the process of teaching and learning of students, and are mostly related to the misbehavior of some children in the various activities promoted in the classroom and by the school. The general objective of the research was to evaluate the knowledge of Primary School teachers in the initial years of elementary education in the municipality of Pranchita-PR, regarding the students evaluated with Attention Deficit Disorder and Hyperactivity, and if the medication used by the students is Methylphenidate Hydrochloride (Ritalin), as well as its function and biological effects on the body of the students. The research was carried out in two moments, the survey of the medical diagnoses of the evaluated students and the accomplishment of a questionnaire with the teachers. When analyzing the diagnoses of the students, we found that the professional who receives the medicine Ritalin is the neurologist, which is indicated mainly for ADHD, one of the responsible for the learning difficulties currently presented by students of basic education. Among the 24 effective teachers in the municipality, 17 had some diagnosed case of student evaluated in their classroom, reporting that the main characteristics of these students were agitation, restlessness, aggressiveness, irritability, inattention, among others, being characteristics of children with ADHD , and that their pedagogical practices in the classroom, in a diversified way, will enable greater learning by means of curricular adaptation according to the needs of the student, with concrete and visual material, helping students in school and social insertion. Regarding the change in school performance and the side effects after the use of Ritalin, some teachers observed changes, and, in relation to school performance, the students were mainly more concentrated and calmer, in relation to the side effects, the teachers observed as main indications the drowsiness, the reduction, the nausea and the increase of weight. Analyzing all the data obtained, we can conclude that Ritalin, which is indicated mainly for ADHD and dyslexia, is the medicine most indicated by neurologists, which are great cause of the learning difficulties currently presented by students of basic education. We can also evaluate the effect of Methylphenidate Hydrochloride (Ritalin) on the biological effects of the drug on the body of students with ADHD, it is observed that information is lacking for these teachers, and what little they know is in the experience lived in the classroom with their students, thus making it difficult to understand the disease, medicine and characteristics of the students. |
