Política de Assistência Social e o reconhecimento das desigualdades em Gaurama - RS

Abstract

This paper aims to provide a description on the issue of social inequality in Brazil, Rio Grande do Sul state, and especially recognize - it in the city of Gaurama, study area. This research assumes that in Brazil there is high economic income presented by GDP, but poorly distributed throughout the country. This research shows an example of the need to implement public policies, emphasizing here, social assistance policy with its condition the implementation of Assistance Reference Centers Social- CRAS and the performance of the same in the territories that have social vulnerabilities. The research objectives were to recognize the inequalities of the city of Gaurama through the CRAS work. The results indicate that the Gaurama municipality was possible to identify conflicting uses of space, which determine whether social groups that use if the territory in different ways, creating up stigmata.
