| Resume: | O presente trabalho teve por objetivo analisar a importância e a organização da atividade leiteira para as famílias do assentamento Celso Furtado, em Quedas do Iguaçu - Paraná. Para isso, a pesquisa identificou os aspectos históricos que levaram à formação do assentamento e à produção leiteira na área, a organização do trabalho familiar e a contribuição dessa atividade na composição da renda. A metodologia utilizada foi baseada em revisão bibliográfica, visitas nas unidades de produção e entrevistas, com base em roteiro semiestruturado, com as famílias do assentamento. Os resultados apontam que a atividade é responsável por uma porcentagem entre 75% e 100% na composição da renda mensal dessas famílias. O leite, além de ser vendido para os laticínios, também é usado para o autoconsumo, inclusive por meio da produção de seus derivados. Todos(as) os(as) integrantes das famílias participam do trabalho cotidiano relacionado com a produção leiteira. Nesse sentido, esta atividade é fundamental para a geração de renda por meio do trabalho familiar, possibilitando a permanência no campo. |
| Abstract: | The present work aimed to analyze the importance and organization of the dairy activity for the families of the Celso Furtado settlement, in Quedas do Iguaçu - Paraná. For this, the research identified the historical aspects that led to the formation of the settlement and the milk production in the area, the organization of family work and the contribution of this activity in the composition of income. The methodology used was based on a literature review, visits to the production units and interviews, based on a semi-structured script, with the families of the settlement. The results show that the activity is responsible for a percentage between 75% and 100% in the composition of the monthly income of these families. Milk, in addition to being sold to dairy, is also used for self-consumption, including through the production of its derivatives. All family members participate in the daily work related to milk production. In this sense, this activity is fundamental for the generation of income through family work, allowing them to remain in the countryside. |
