As mulheres do meio evangélico e a teologia feminista: uma discussão

Abstract

The purpose of this work is to explain how feminist theology has been operating in Protestant churches and how it presents its guidelines with the objective of defending women's rights in the Pentecostalism. It also presents an analysis of the waves of Feminism and Pentecostalism with the objective to determine what are the similarities between these movements and how they think about themes seen as paradigms of Christianity. In addition, this work asks if the female pastorating is something coherent with the guidelines of Protestant denominations and if the Feminism and the Pentecostalism can work together without violating recommended biblical precepts that are used as the foundations for many regulations of religious institutions. Finally, an analysis was made about how these guidelines can make sense in the feminist movement whose religious beliefs are based in the possibility of female pastoring.
