Biopolítica e o empresário de si mesmo

Abstract

This work refers to an analysis of the concept of biopolitics and power devices in the neoliberal sphere and the formation of the entrepreneur of self. We sought to analyze the different forms of intervention through biopower on subjects, as well as the influence of power devices that influence the process of constitution of passive subjects, presented in the work Birth of Biopolitics by Michel Foucault. To deepen the discussion, we used the reflections of authors who reflect on the theme relevant to the subject, such as Giorgio Agamben, Dardot, and Laval. The aim was to perform a historical, social, and philosophical analysis of the formation of neoliberalism, the art of governing, and the deep-rooted culture of the performance society, which brings a business character focused on the productivity of individuals, and how biopolitics acts in these processes.
