Resume: A seguinte pesquisa lista e analisa as características, comuns e divergentes, acerca da representação da homossexualidade nas telenovelas do horário nobre da Rede Globo de televisão, em específico a faixa das 20h/21h, do período de 1985 a 2020, por ser essa a mais expressiva (e consumida) forma de produção audiovisual no Brasil, a fim de analisar a sua contribuição quanto a formação do imaginário coletivo nacional sobre o tema.
Abstract: The following research lists and analyzes the common and divergent characteristics of the representation of homosexuality in the prime-time soap operas of Rede Globo television, specifically the 20h/21h range, from 1985 to 2020, as this is the most expressive (and consumed) form of audiovisual production in Brazil, in order to analyze its contribution to the formation of the national collective imagination on the subject
