Análise de viabilidade econômica de aviários de frangos de corte na região noroeste do Estado do Paraná

Abstract

In the literature there are several articles related to the economic viability of broiler aviaries, however, they are from previous years and may have lost their effectiveness. There are few current articles, which deal with recent changes in the world economic scenario, which has undergone major changes after the COVID-19 pandemic period. In view of the above, this article aims to verify whether there is economic and financial viability in the implementation of broiler aviaries in the northwest region of the State of Paraná. This research used a qualitative and quantitative approach. Considering a period of 10 years, the IRR index was below the stipulated MRA by 13.3%. The NPV, CBI and ROI indices obtained negative values. The simple payback was 6.33 years for aviaries A and 7.5 for aviaries B. The Discount was 12.29 years for aviaries A and for aviaries B it was 14.5. Due to the low rates obtained by the indicators, an estimate for 15 years was also calculated. The IRR index was 14% in the A aviaries, being above the MRA. The NPV, CBI and ROI indicators obtained positive values for the A aviaries, indicating the feasibility of the project. The simple Payback was 5.37 years for the A aviaries and 6.34 for the B aviaries. The discounted one was 14.23 years for the A aviaries. and 16.83 for aviaries B.
