Estágio curricular supervisionado em ciências e biologia: compreensões de licenciandos e professores orientadores

Abstract

The research addresses the theme Supervised Internship, which can be understood as a stage of training and preparation for the exercise of the profession. The same objective aims to understand the conceptions that undergraduate and supervising professors of supervised internships in the Biological Sciences course at the Federal University of Fronteira Sul, Campus Realeza-PR have in relation to internships, as well as to understand how they conceive the figure of the supervising professor and internship supervisor. It is considered important to know these understandings, because the practice of the internship can generate reflexes in the teaching action on the part of the future teacher and also of the teacher who guides the interns. Information was collected through a questionnaire, with undergraduate students who had attended the subjects of Supervised Curricular Internship in Sciences I and Biology I, and for the completion of the ECS in Biology I, the licensee must have attended ECS in Sciences I and II; and, an interview with the supervising professors. For the analysis of the data, the Discursive Textual Analysis was carried out, from which we organized two mixed categories: I) Supervised Curricular Internship: a moment of Formation, exchange of experiences and reflections on the practice; II) Guiding and supervising professors: fundamental subjects in the relationship between the two educational institutions. Such categories made it possible to reflect on the importance of conceiving the internship as a moment of formation and reflection, as well as the need for greater involvement between university and school, made possible by the approximation between supervisors and supervisors.
