| Resume: | A agricultura familiar se caracteriza por uma produção rural, estruturada no trabalho familiar. O trabalho é organizado e gerenciado pela família, assim é fundamental compreender os espaços ocupados pelas mulheres neste ambiente. O estado do Pará é destaque na agricultura, na qual o município de Tucumã, encontra-se dentre uns dos líderes do estado paraense na produção de cacau. A relação de gênero presente no meio rural atribui papéis diferenciados para cada um dos sexos. Desta maneira, este estudo tem por objetivo analisar a participação de mulheres na gestão de propriedades familiares produtoras de cacau no município de Tucumã- PA. Em termos metodológicos, a pesquisa é considerada como qualitativa descritiva, fazendo uso de dados primários, os quais foram coletados através de entrevistas semiestruturadas, no mês de janeiro de 2022 com 3 mulheres produtoras de cacau. Para a análise levou-se em consideração a caracterização das mulheres, a verificação do trabalho que exercem na gestão, ainda como as dificuldades e a atuação delas nas tarefas, nas atividades e na gestão das propriedades rurais. O qual foi possível perceber que elas diariamente têm que conciliar a dupla jornada de responsabilidades domésticas com ações gerenciais da propriedade, ainda como a falta de reconhecimento e valorização pela família e pela sociedade. |
| Abstract: | Family farming is characterized by rural production structured around family work. The work is organized and managed by the family, so it is essential to understand the spaces occupied by women in this environment. The state of Pará has a well developed agriculture, in which the municipality of Tucumã is among one of the leaders of the state of Pará in the production of cocoa. The gender relationship present in rural areas assigns different roles to each of the genders. In this way, this study aims to analyze the participation of women in the management of cocoa-producing family properties in the municipality of Tucumã-PA. In methodological terms, the research is considered as descriptive qualitative, making use of primary data, which were collected through semi-structured interviews, in January 2022 with 3 women cocoa producers. The analysis took into account the characterization of women, the verification of the work they perform in management, as well as the difficulties and their performance in the tasks, activities and management of rural properties. It was possible to perceive that they have to reconcile the double journey of domestic responsibilities with managerial actions of the property, even with the lack of recognition and appreciation by the family and society. |
