| Resume: | Esta monografia de Trabalho de Conclusão de Curso pretende analisar o jornal abolicionista O Asteroide entre os anos de 1887 e 1888. A metodologia desenvolveuse a partir do levantamento bibliográfico, buscando estabelecer uma rede entre autores ligados com a temática escravidão e abolicionismo e amparados pela análise nas matérias publicadas pelo jornal O Asteroide. A monografia é estruturada em dois capítulos: no primeiro, “Um jornal Abolicionista: O Asteroide”, será abordado como foi o surgimento do jornal abolicionista e como este trata a temática da escravidão e o abolicionismo; no segundo “A análise de O Asteroide”, analisamos o periódico e sua contribuição para os estudos historiográficos. |
| Abstract: | This Course Completion Work monograph intends to analyze the abolitionist newspaper O Asteroide between the years 1887 and 1888. The methodology was developed from the bibliographic survey, seeking to establish a network between authors linked to the subject of slavery and abolitionism and supported by the analysis of the articles published by the newspaper O Asteroide. The monograph is structured in two chapters: in the first, “An Abolitionist Journal: O Asteroide”, it will be addressed how the abolitionist journal emerged and how it deals with the subject of slavery and abolitionism; in the second “The analysis of O Asteroide”, we analyze the journal and its contribution to historiographical studies. |
