| Resume: | A pandemia do novo coronavírus foi capaz de mobilizar a população mundial em torno do combate do novo vírus. No Brasil, foi a existência de um “tratamento precoce” que acabou por mobilizar o debate público ao longo do primeiro ano pandêmico. Considerando isso, esse trabalho se propõe compreender se o posicionamento frente ao tratamento precoce da Gazeta do Povo, jornal reacionário da cidade de Curitiba confluiu para a defesa do tratamento precoce com (Hidroxi)cloroquina. Para a compreensão do tema, o trabalho é dividido em três partes: A primeira discute quais são as relações existentes entre a ciência e a política, já no segundo capítulo, se há a retomada histórica da Gazeta do Povo desde sua fundação, até os dias atuais, buscando compreender qual seu posicionamento após sua mudança editorial. Já o terceiro capítulo, é realizada uma análise documental de artigos e notícias vinculadas no jornal, com o auxílio do Atlas.TI. |
| Abstract: | The novel coronavirus pandemic was able to mobilize the world's population in the fight against the new virus. In Brazil, it was the existence of an "early treatment" that ended up mobilizing public debate throughout the first year of the pandemic. Considering this, this work aims to understand whether the position of Gazeta do Povo, a reactionary newspaper from the city of Curitiba, towards early treatment converged towards the defense of early treatment with (Hydroxy)chloroquine. To understand the topic, the work is divided into three parts: The first discusses the existing relationships between science and politics, while in the second chapter, there is a historical review of Gazeta do Povo since its foundation up to the present day, seeking to understand its stance after its editorial change. In the third chapter, a documentary analysis of articles and news linked to the newspaper is conducted, with the assistance of Atlas.TI. |
