Trajetória migrante: um olhar sobre o processo migratório venezuelano em Chapecó (SC)

Abstract

This paper seeks to reflect on the contemporary immigration process, based on the experiences of the paths taken by Rodulfo Chavez Parra, a Venezuelan immigrant. The research was developed in two parts, the first of which is more subjective, seeking to highlight the ways in which we reflect upon and handle to the world, and the way such subjectivities are expressed in our daily lives, bringing as assumptions, the migratory experiences of Rodulfo. Distinguished by the agro-exporting industrial character of the region, a characteristic that has become the object of studies from different scientific areas, it begins to receive a high migratory flow of Venezuelan nationals as a result of the humanitarian crisis experienced in Venezuela, whether by its own means, or by internalizations carried out through the operation of hospitality. The insertion of the Venezuelan migrant community in the city culminated in the second moment of this research, which sought to reflect on the administrative processes of migratory regularization, having as its main focus, the high flow of migrants in the city of Chapecó, located in the West of the state of Santa Catarina. It seeks to think not only about the problems that are triggered from the non regularization of migration, but also about the character of the documents issued by the Brazilian government, especially the refugee protocol. Moreover, it analyzes the conditions that are triggered as it proposes to think about the migratory movement in its entirety.
