Levantamento de doenças de parte aérea do trigo na região de Laranjeiras do Sul-PR nas safras 2021 e 2022

Abstract

The knowledge and correct diagnosis of the diseases that affect the crop in a given region is essential for the adoption of appropriate management measures. This work aimed do carry out a survey of aerial part diseases that occur in the wheat crop in the region of Laranjeiras do Sul -PR. To this end, inspections were carried out every 14 days on wheat crops in the municipalities of Laranjeiras do Sul and Nova Laranjeiras, in the 2021 and 2022 harvests. Samples of the aerial part were collected and analyzed at the Phytopathology Laboratory. Isolations were performed in culture media and preparation of semipermanent slides. The following aerial part diseases were identified: powdery mildew (Blumeria graminis f. sp. tritici); wheat leaf rust (Puccina triticina), brown spot (Cochiobolus sativus); yellow spot (Pyrenophora tritici-repentis); glume spot (Leptosphaeria nodorum); gibberella (Gibberella zeae); blast (Magnaporthe grisea) and barley yellow dwarf (Barley yellow dwarf virus). The occurrence of these diseases in both seasons and their importance reinforce the need for the monitoring and attention to management measures to avoid damage to the crop.
