Resume: | Este estudo tem como objetivo principal descrever a evolução clínica de pacientes vacinados internados na UTI por COVID-19 em um município do norte gaúcho. Trata-se de um estudo quantitativo, observacional, descritivo e analítico a partir da análise de dados secundários oriundos das fichas de notificação de SRAG junto a SMS. A pesquisa será conduzida de Agosto de 2022 a Julho de 2023, tendo como unidade de análise a cidade de Passo Fundo – RS. Espera se encontrar os seguintes resultados: pacientes com idade superior a 50 anos e com comorbidades associadas apresentam maior incidência de complicações e maior número de internações na UTI por COVID-19; o número de pacientes internados na UTI por COVID-19 será maior entre os não vacinados; aqueles pacientes que realizaram o esquema vicinal contra o novo coronavírus apresentarão menos complicações; permanecerão menos dias internados e terão menor morbidade quando comparados aos não vacinados; aqueles pacientes que não se vacinaram necessitarão de maior uso de respirador; comorbidades como diabetes mellitus, hipertensão arterial sistêmica e cardiopatias apresentarão maior morbidade intra-hospitalar quando comparados aos que não possuem doenças prévias. |
Abstract: | The main objective of this study is to describe the clinical evolution of vaccinated patients admitted to the ICU for COVID-19 in a municipality in the north of the state of Rio Grande do Sul. This is a quantitative, observational, descriptive and analytical study based on the analysis of secondary data from the SARS notification forms with the SMS. The research will be conducted from August 2022 to July 2023, having as unit of analysis the city of Passo Fundo - RS. The following results are expected: patients over 50 years of age and with associated comorbidities have a higher incidence of complications and a higher number of ICU admissions due to COVID-19; the number of patients admitted to the ICU for COVID-19 will be higher among the unvaccinated; those patients who underwent the vicinal regimen against the new coronavirus will have fewer complications; they will remain hospitalized for fewer days and have less morbidity when compared to those who are not vaccinated; those patients who were not vaccinated will need more respirator use; comorbidities such as diabetes mellitus, systemic arterial hypertension and heart disease will present greater in-hospital morbidity when compared to those who do not have previous diseases. |
