| Resume: | A presente pesquisa consiste na análise do antissemitismo produzido por discursos da Ação Integralista durante o período da Era Vargas em conexão com suas representações de brasilidade. Nesse sentido, a investigação privilegia declarações e discursos emitidos pelo referido movimento político no âmbito da imprensa, principal veículo de divulgação da doutrina integralista. Para tanto, utiliza-se a metodologia qualitativa na análise tanto das fontes documentais quanto das referências historiográficas. A interpretação da intencionalidade entrevista em discursos de líderes integralistas, especialmente os de Gustavo Barroso, qual seja, a de identificar o povo judeu como inimigo da nacionalidade brasileira mediante uma ideologia do ódio, leva a concluir que o antissemitismo propagado pela Ação Integralista atuava como um dispositivo de controle para a constituição almejada da cultura nacional. |
| Abstract: | The present research it consists in the analysis of antisemitism produced by Integralist Action speeches, during the period of the Era Vargas in connection with its representations of brazilianness. In this sense, the investigation privileges declarations and speeches issued by the aforementioned political movement within the scope of the press, main vehicle for disseminating integralist doctrine. For this purpose, the qualitative methodology is used in the analysis of both documentary sources and historiographical references. The interpretation of interviewed intentionality in integralist leaders' speeches, especially those of Gustavo Barroso, that is, to identify the Jewish people as an enemy of the brazilian nationality through an ideology of hate, leads to the conclusion that antisemitism propagated by Ação Integralista acted as a control device for the desired constitution of national culture. |
