A linguagem fotográfica na educação infantil: o CEIM sob o olhar da criança

Abstract

The present research has as its theme, The Photographic Language in Childhood Education and it is a project with inspiration in ethnography, carried out with children of 4 and 5 years old in CEIM Trilha do Saber in the city of Guatambu - SC in the year 2023, aiming to understand what is the perception of beauty in the educational environment according to the vision of children, these considered in this research as protagonists of the educational process. The methodology used is qualitative research inspired by ethnography and research with children. A didactic sequence was used for data collection, which included four instruments: observations, where simple observations were made, in the class authorized by the institution, with records in a field diary; a photographic workshop where the basics of photography and image composition were presented; photographic records where children in possession of the camera made their records of CEIM, and finally semi-structured interviews, were conducted with the children. Subsequently, the analysis of the speeches and photographic records produced by the children was also inserted, to identify their vision of CEIM. The results obtained made us see photography as a powerful form of visual expression that has the potential to enrich the educational process in early childhood education and that allows children to express themselves, observe the world around them and uniquely share their experiences.
