Educação de tempo integral, contribuições à promoção da saúde e combate a obesidade infantil

Abstract

The purpose of this work is to investigate the trajectory of integral education at the Cristo Rei State School in the municipality of Pato Branco, from its implementation to the present day. A brief historical contextualization of full-time education was carried out and some experiences in Brazil were mentioned. In this sense, this monograph intends to carry out a bibliographical review using scientific articles, official documents and published books and highlight the projects of the Cristo Rei State School and the Mais Educação Program with the aim of identifying how this can promote health and combat childhood obesity. Understanding that there is a need to combat obesity, and that this becomes a public health problem when not treated properly and that it is also the responsibility of the School to assist and guide the resolution of this is evident in the discussions and results through its projects and public programs. Finally, a reflection is established on the real possibility of these projects contributing to the solution and combat of Childhood Obesity.
