As formas de trabalho desenvolvidas pelos Kaingang da terra indígena de Mangueirinha (1970 – 2020)

Abstract

The present work reflects a research with theoretical deepening of the field of the Interdisciplinary Course and Degree in Rural Education - Social and Human Sciences of the Federal University of Fronteira Sul, Campus Laranjeiras do Sul/PR, approaching the main focus in understanding the position and transformations that were developed over time among the forms of work and income of the Kaingang Indigenous Land of Mangueirinha/PR, between the years (1970-2020). In this way, the study of the theme is linked to my cultural reality because in the Indigenous Land of Mangueirinha/PR the distribution of work is diversified, that is, each family has a way of guaranteeing its own subsistence. For this, what marks the work is to identify and compare the historical problem of work and the forms of income of the Kaingang people, within the indigenous land of Mangueirinha, to the present day. The methodology used is qualitative with semi-structured interviews, with the elderly, and people born in the 1970s, in the methodology of oral history. It is noticed that issues related to work are linked to the customs and cosmology of the indigenous communities, as they also took away their self sufficiency in the sale of their handicrafts, handling of stump fields, trade, agriculture as well as exercising their way of working in industries close to the community, this demonstrates some of the different forms of work existing in that community.
