Influência do Empreende UFFS na formação empreendedora dos estudantes da Universidade Federal da Fronteira Sul - Campus Chapecó

Abstract

The present study aimed to analyze the influence of the Empreende UFFS program on the entrepreneurial education of students at the Federal University of Fronteira Sul, Chapecó campus. To achieve this objective, it was crucial to identify the main actions promoted by Empreende UFFS to foster university entrepreneurship and to characterize the profile of students involved in these initiatives, seeking to understand their motivations and characteristics. Additionally, we assessed the satisfaction of engaged students regarding the services provided by Empreende UFFS. The adopted methodological approach was qualitative, classified as descriptive. As for the means, the research was classified as a case study and field research. Two distinct instruments were employed for data collection. In the first stage, a questionnaire was administered through Google Forms, structured into five sections. The first section addressed participants' previous involvement in Empreende activities, with automatic closure for negative responses. In the second section, personal aspects such as age, gender, and current course were explored. The third section investigated participants' engagement in Empreende UFFS initiatives, while the fourth section focused on their entrepreneurial profile. In the second part of data collection, semi-structured interviews were conducted. Five scholarship/volunteer participants were interviewed, and the analysis of these interviews complemented the results obtained through the questionnaire. The findings of this research indicate that the actions of Empreende UFFS play a significant role in the development of entrepreneurial education, both in the academic context and in the personal and professional lives of students.
