Dificulades enfrentadas pelos jovens de Barra do Rio Azul, para permanecer na propriedade

Abstract

The municipality of Barra do Rio Azul has rugged and sloping terrain, a characteristic that made the introduction of large-scale agriculture difficult and favored the emergence of family farming for subsistence. a historical and social event. Because it involves the transmission of land, knowledge and values from one generation to another. In this way, the present work aims to: Study how rural succession occurs in the municipality of Barra do Rio Azul, and analyze how public policies influence people's lives in rural areas and favor the permanence, or not, of young people in the same . The methodology is divided into two parts, initially a bibliographical research was carried out on subjects that permeate Brazilian agriculture, where the analysis of articles, physical books, and digital documents took place on the websites of IBGE and the Association of Municipalities of Alto Uruguai (AMAU ). The second part was based on the development of qualitative research that presented a questionnaire with approximately 20 questions, which were answered by the target audience, that is, young people aged 18 to 25 years old, taking into account their training. In this sense, CB only has completed high school, RCO and ETS are studying higher education in the following courses: Veterinary Medicine and Law, while IFO and VM have the full degree in the areas of: Veterinary Medicine and Electrical Engineering. Therefore, the research aimed to promote an overview of the difficulties faced by young people who remained on their parents' property and those who escaped, in addition to revealing the changes that have occurred in the countryside in recent decades.
