Inoculação com rizóbio e adubação nitrogenada em diferentes variedades de feijão

Abstract

The present work aimed to verify the response of the different dry bean varieties to seeds inoculation with Rhizobium genus bacteria, comparing them to the use of nitrogen fertilization and without the use of the inoculant, and comparing the same without inoculant and nitrogen fertilization. The experimental design was a Randomized Block Design (RBD), composed of three replications of three treatments in three different dry bean varieties. The treatments consisted of the use or not of inoculant, in the presence or absence of the nitrogen fertilization, and without the use of both. The bean showed a positive response to inoculation with Rhizobium tropici when compared to the other treatments used, in relation to the variable number of nodules per plant. In relation to the average number of pods, the Chumbinho-type was the best, showing the best results with the use of nitrogen fertilization. In relation to the average number of grains per pod, there was no statistical difference between treatments with N and with inoculant, in the Chumbinho variety. As for the weight of a thousand grains, the best results were found in the Jalo Roxo variety, again with the use of nitrogen fertilization. In terms of yield, among the treatments used, the treatment with N use in sowing and cover presented the best results. Among the varieties, the best results were found with the variety Chumbinho. Although the inoculation showed lower response, in relation to nitrogen fertilization, in most of the analyzed factors, it becomes an alternative for small and medium farmers, being a form of reduction of costs and of independence of fossil energies.
