| Resume: | O objetivo do presente projeto visa salientar a relevância, bem como aprofundar a análise dos legados de presídios e seus impactos histórico-culturais no Brasil, destacando-se, em especial, o Complexo Penitenciário do Carandiru. Dada sua magnitude, torna-se evidente a importância da análise e estudo do seu legado enquanto patrimônio cultural, bem como seu desenvolvimento e demais aberturas de tipologias patrimoniais. Pretende-se, portanto, fundamentar-se em produções acadêmicas prévias acerca do assunto, consulta de acervos e de bibliotecas, utilizando-se de autores e pesquisadores renomados no assunto, como o notável Dr. Drauzio Varella, Laura Basilio Yamashita e Viviane Trindade Borges, além de pesquisas nacionais e internacionais sobre o assunto, igualmente relevantes. O estudo é composto por dois capítulos: O primeiro deles pauta-se na contextualização histórico-cultural, na memória e nas repercussões até os dias atuais. O segundo, por outro lado, volta-se à análise documental necessária para o tombamento do Complexo e as consequências geradas a partir disso. Ambos os capítulos procuram trazer à tona maior clareza acerca do assunto, além da disseminação de informações históricas verídicas sobre um período crucial da história brasileira e, consequentemente, da história mundial, visto que possui camadas mais aprofundadas quando analisadas comprometidamente. |
| Abstract: | The objective of this project aims to highlight the relevance, as well as deepen the analysis of prison legacies and their historical-cultural impacts in Brazil, focusing, in particular, the Carandiru Penitentiary Complex. Given its magnitude, the relevance of analyzing and studying its legacy as a cultural heritage becomes evident, as well as its development and other openings of heritage typologies. Therefore, it is intended to be based on previous academic productions on the subject, consultation of collections and libraries, using renowned authors and researchers on the subject, such as the notable Dr. Drauzio Varella, Laura Basilio Yamashita and Viviane Trindade Borges, in addition to national and international research on the subject, which are equally relevant. The study consists of two chapters: The first of them are based on historical-cultural contextualization, memory and repercussions to the present day. The second, on the other hand, focuses on the documentary analysis necessary for the Complex's listing and the consequences generated from this. Both chapters seek to bring greater clarity to the subject, in addition to disseminating true historical information about a crucial period in Brazilian history and, consequently, world history, since it has more in-depth layers when analyzed |
