Gestão Pública: A importância do CRAS na Garantia dos Direitos Fundamentais

Abstract

The analysis of public policies highlights the importance of leadership in public administration and the State's responsibility in ensuring social rights, grounded in the ideas of Amartya Sen. The CRAS Program (Social Assistance Reference Center) serves as a significant example of this role, promoting social inclusion and protecting the rights of vulnerable populations. Additionally, the CRAS Itinerant, an extension of the traditional CRAS, expands access to these services in rural and isolated areas. Public administration plays a crucial role in formulating, implementing, and monitoring these policies, ensuring that fundamental and social rights are effectively protected. Through an intersectoral and integrated approach, CRAS strengthens the social protection network and contributes to the sustainable development of the communities it serves, aligning with Sen’s theories on the expansion of individual freedoms.
