A territorialidade do futebol amador rural do município de Ponte Preta - RS

Abstract

This study seeks to analyze the territoriality of rural amateur football in the municipality of Ponte Preta-RS, by a geographical bias, through which the relationship between rural amateur football, territory and territoriality built through the occupation of the elements Of space and the representation of football by its actors. The pontepretense football was seized through field research, through which 37 interviews with key informants from each study location were carried out, as well as the contribution of data from the municipal prefecture and players from all teams and from all localities through interviews, And, from them, to better understand the symbolic aspects inherent to the dynamics of the appropriation of space by the pontepretense football. we find three main elements to being: 1) football linked to parties (Interior Communities), 2 (weekend games, so-called "play ball" among local communities and even in Other localities outside the municipality, and 3) the municipal championships organized City Hall in partnership with the CMD (Municipal Sports Council). In this last item a more in-depth analysis is done, since it involves public sector, among them, City Hall Secretary of Education, and CMD (Municipal Council of Sports). The junction of these three main elements has the function of the construction of territoriality, as an element of articulating the network of subjects, with the aim of organizing and structuring a relationship between the society in which they live.
