| Resume: | Esta pesquisa tem por objetivo identificar e mapear a construção de uma cultura audiovisual em Chapecó/SC, considerando desde o surgimento das primeiras salas locais de cinema até as primeiras produções audiovisuais no formato Super-8 na década de 1970. A pesquisa parte de um contexto histórico e cultural que envolveu desde a arquitetura das salas de cinema que existiram – ou a arquitetura remanescente daqueles espaços – considerando, simultaneamente, um exercício de percepção sobre a cultura urbana, a memória de profissionais e entusiastas ligados ao cinema, bem como o cotejo dessas memórias com fontes escritas, em especial oriundas da imprensa regional. Para isso, analiso periódicos e a produção de filmes no município, percorrendo fontes primárias e entrevistas com base em história oral temática. |
| Abstract: | This research aims to uncover and document the development of audiovisual culture in Chapecó/SC. It will explore the evolution from the first local movie theaters to the initial audiovisual productions in Super-8 format during the 1970s. The study will delve into the historical and cultural context, including the architecture of the existing movie theaters or the remnants of these spaces. Additionally, it will involve an examination of urban culture, insights from cinema professionals and enthusiasts, and a comparison of these insights with written sources, particularly regional press materials. The research involves analyzing periodicals and film production in the municipality, along with utilizing primary sources and conducting thematic oral history interviews. |
