| Resume: | O principal objetivo que norteia este trabalho é a análise e a elucidação de um tópico bastante recorrente entre os historiadores brasileiros: a influência de diferentes correntes filosóficas na formação geográfica e social de nosso país. Em análise, mais especificamente, estará o movimento positivista e a sua contribuição para a formação da cidade de Erechim e a distribuição dos bairros desta cidade. Para entender melhor esta influência, estudaremos o processo de construção das habitações populares e o processo de alocação dos habitantes do antigo bairro São Vicente de Paulo. Tanto este estudo de caso quanto a corrente filosófica em questão, serão analisados e contextualizados através de estudo bibliográfico, pesquisas no arquivo histórico do município de Erechim e a realização de entrevistas com os antigos moradores da região estudada. |
| Abstract: | The main objective that guides this work is the analysis and elucidation of a frequently recurring topic among Brazilian historians: the influence from different philosophical currents in the geographic and social formation of our country. In analysis, more specifically, is the positivist movement and its contribution to the formation of the Erechim city and its distribution of neighborhoods on this location. To better understand this influence, we will study the process of construction of social housing and the allocation process of the inhabitants from the old district “Saint Vincent de Paul” for these new homes. Both, this study of case and the philosophical current in question, will be analyzed and contextualized through literature study, researchs on the historical archive of Erechim city and conducting interviews with former residents from the study area. |
