| Resume: | Este trabalho tem o objetivo de examinar a representação da mulher no município de Erechim a partir da análise de fotografias a fim de investigar se há nelas um ideal normativo de gênero. Para isso, metodologicamente recorreu-se ao Arquivo Histórico Municipal Juarez Miguel Illa Font localizado no município de Erechim, estado do Rio Grande do Sul para verificar e selecionar as fotografias com abordagem de mulheres. Após a seleção do corpus desenvolveu-se uma pesquisa bibliográfica a fim de encontrar os elementos que sustentariam teoricamente a análise empírica. Nesse sentido foram abordadas discussões feministas e de gênero que remeteram as teorias de Michel Foucault e Judith Butler, que por sua vez, foram somadas as contribuições do fotógrafo e Sociólogo José De Souza Martins. A partir disso foi possível desenvolver a análise empírica das fotografias. As conclusões apontam para a existência de um ideal normativo que coloca as mulheres em uma posição subalterna em relação ao homem. |
| Abstract: | This work aims to examine the representation of women in the municipality of Erechim from the analysis of photographs in order to investigate if there is a normative ideal of gender in them. For this, methodologically, the Juarez Miguel IIIa Font Historical Archive was located in the city of Erechim, state of Rio Grande do Sul, to verify and select photographs with a women's approach. After the selection of the corpus was developed a bibliographical research in order to find the elements that would theoretically support the empirical analysis. In this sense, feminist and gender discussions were discussed, which referred to the theories of Michel Foucault and Judith Butler, which in turn were added the contributions of the photographer and sociologist José De Souza Martins. From this it was possible to develop the empirical analysis of the photographs. The conclusions point to the existence of a normative ideal that places women in a subordinate position in relation to men. |
