As Jornadas de Junho de 2013: a disputa de narrativas na mídia e suas significações

Abstract

This paper aimed to understand how the newspapers of Erechim (Boa Vista, Bom Dia, Diário da Manhã and Voz Regional) represented the June Days in their pages during the period from June 19 to 28, 2013. To understand what The Journeys of June, an investigation was the first of an investigation to discover the genesis of the Free Passage Movement (MPL), understood from the development of the struggles related to public transport in Brazil from the nineteenth century to the manifestations of 2013. It was then carried out A research to understand the differences in the narratives of the various social actors involved directly or not in the protests and, especially, in the city of São Paulo, because it was the cradle of mobilizations. An analysis was then made of the narratives of the Eritrean newspapers on the protests in the city and in the country, as well as a comparison with the narratives produced by the mass media. Relations were established between the movement, its heirs and the political situation of the country from the end of the days to the present day. It is a theoretical-empirical research; In relation to the data treatment, can be characterized as quanti-qualitative; For purposes, it is an exploratory-descriptive research; And regarding the conduct in relation to the data, is a bibliographical research. From the data collected and comparing them with other researches, it was concluded that the journalists and columnists of the newspapers of Erechim replicated the hegemonic narrative made by the great vehicles of communication about the manifestations.
