| Title: | Leucemia mieloide aguda em idosos: eficácia e segurança dos tratamentos ofertados pelo Sistema Único de Saúde |

| Resume: | leucemia mieloide aguda ainda é desafiadora frente a escolha terapêutica nos pacientes idosos que não elegíveis aos tratamentos intensivos. O presente estudo buscou avaliar a eficácia e segurança dos tratamentos disponível no Sistema Único de Saúde neste grupo de paciente, assim como, comparar com o uso associado ao Venetoclax, que vem demonstrando bons resultados. Trata-se de uma revisão sistemática, em que foi realizado um levantamento nas plataformas Scielo e PubMed para identificação dos artigos selecionados no período de 2020 a 2025, sendo selecionado 8 artigos para discussão. Os estudos demonstraram uma melhor taxa de remissão completa da doença (44,1%), sobrevida global média (10,4 meses) e independência transfusional (37%) dentro dos esquemas com associação do VEN. Entretanto, não foi encontrado pesquisas específicas com a população brasileira ou no âmbito do SUS, demonstrando necessidade de novos estudos nacionais e cautela ao optar por incluir o VEN no esquema terapêutico. |
| Abstract: | Acute myeloid leukemia remains challenging in terms of therapeutic choices for elderly patients who are not eligible for intensive treatments. This study aimed to evaluate the efficacy and safety of treatments available in the Brazilian Unified Health System (SUS) for this patient group, as well as to compare them with the use of Venetoclax, which has shown good results. This is a systematic review, in which a search was conducted on the Scielo and PubMed platforms to identify selected articles from 2020 to 2025, resulting in 8 articles being selected for discussion. The studies demonstrated a better rate of complete disease remission (44.1%), median overall survival (10.4 months), and transfusion independence (37%) within the regimens with the addition of VEN. However, no specific research was found with the Brazilian population or within the SUS, demonstrating the need for new national studies and caution when choosing to include VEN in the therapeutic regimen. |
