Abstract/Resumen: Inclusive Education constitutes a new educational paradigm that has challenged the educational systems, the schools and, especially the teachers, to give answers to the new reality of the school context. Inclusive school claims educational actions that respond effectively to the diversity of all learners. Considering the limits of educational systems to meet the prospects of inclusive education, the presence of the second teacher to support, share and collaborate with the daily activities of the school, in the inclusion of students with disabilities, represents important advances while public policy. In this context, this paper aims to describe the process of construction of social representations, by teachers regents from the early years, on the work of the second teacher, in the perspective of Inclusive Education. In order to do so, a qualitative research was carried out with fifteen teachers from the first years of the school who work in classes where the presence of the second teacher is present. As theoretical contribution was used the Theory of Social Representations and Education Policies in the perspective of Inclusion. As instruments for the data collection, the projective technique of drawing and the semi-structured interview were applied, and the data collected through the projective technique of drawing were reserved for later analyzes and scientific productions. The analyzes of data collected by half of the interviews were performed using a lexical analysis of Descending Hierarchical Classification - CHD. In order to be able to run the documents in the Software, first the 15 interviews were transcribed and systematized into a single file, each interview being a text. The CHD synthesized the textual information, classifying the text segments according to their vocabulary, and the lexicographic analysis raised the frequencies of the active and supplementary forms of the texts. To perform these analyzes, the IRAMUTEQ software was used, which performed a statistical analysis on the textual corpus constructed from the interviews. IRAMUTEQ is a free software developed by Pierre Ratinaud (2009) used for statistical analysis of textual data. The data analyzed made it possible to perceive that the work of the second teacher is a pedagogical process under construction, which demands deep reflections and debates within the school context, as well as an urgent attention on the part of teacher training processes, both in the scope of initial formation , And continued. The work of the second teacher is perceived as an auxiliary work, anchored in the model of special medical-therapeutic education, where the pedagogical action turns to an individualized work with the learner and differentiated as pedagogical responsibilities. This perception protects and maintains the representation of the regent teacher as the owner of knowledge, which does not allow differentiated forms of pedagogical work, of doing and of being a teacher, as well as the representation of the learner with a disability, as one who does not learn and who needs only care and attention.
