A cultura escolar como campo de investigação das práticas pedagógicas: duas escolas, duas culturas

Abstract

This paper presents a discussion about the different cultures that may be in the contexts of schools in general. An attempt to check if it would be possible to separate schools located in the same space, having a same story could internally create distinct cultures. The development of the research took place in São Luiz Gonzaga in two schools in the state schools. The work is divided into three chapters, where the first speech of the general concepts of school culture, beginning with the concepts of authors known as Laraia (2002), Geertz (1989), Souza (2007). In the second chapter an overview of the local culture to improve regional context of where the schools surveyed are inserted, same place, same historical culture and training. The third chapter brings a little history of each school and makes an analysis of the discourses and cultures of different schools of research. For this chapter used to Plans Educational Policy of each school mentioned in the survey. In closing remarks, you can see that it is possible to verify that two schools within a single reality but can produce distinct cultures. These cultures are introjected political plans in the forms of pedagogical goals, philosophy and own pedagogical performance of each teacher, which often do not realize this yourself.
