Agricultura Guarani: um saber milenar utilizado na preservação de sementes tradicionais

Abstract

The present work aimed at both academic and social point of view when it means recognition of knowledge that is at the root of scientific studies, strengthening of identity and desire to contribute to this community and the farmers who need studies that the maintain with the minimum of autonomy. It had as a crankcase to understand and describe how the natives of my community of Toldo Guarani as they develop agriculture, turning a look mainly for the storage of traditional seeds focused on the main forms of storage of corn. It is concluded that this work performed with the traditional seeds in the Toldo Guarani indigenous land, it was possible to obtain satisfactory results for the germination capacity of the corn submitted to contact with the red-orange smoke, maintaining the vigor and quality of the seeds.
