dc.description.abstract | Investigated whether the movement of the physical pendulum, formed by a bar with a magnet at its lower end. The pendulum swings over a coil until it rests, in which the distance between the coil and the magnet is sufficient to avoid contact. The oscillation amplitude of the pendulum was chosen in such a way as to keep the magnet area superimposed on the inductor area during the entire oscillatory movement. For this study, bibliographies were examined in theoretical development, where assumptions were made of the equations of their movement. In addition to a detailed experimental analysis, a numerical solution was used to evaluate the proposed equations. Finally, the pendulum movement underwent damping as if immersed in a viscous fluid, with dependencies directly proportional to the current induced in the coil, to the magnetic field of the magnet and to the overlap between the areas of the magnet and the inductor. | pt_BR |
| pt_BR |
