Fechamento das escolas do campo: estudo a partir do Núcleo Regional de Educação de Laranjeiras do Sul

Abstract

This research analyzes the closure of State Rural Schools in the “Núcleo Regional de Educaçao de Laranjeiras do Sul”. Seeking to understand the impacts caused in the community. For this purpose, a survey of quantitative data was carried out, indicating the number of schools in the field in this nucleus. As well as bibliographical research analyzing the historical context of Rural / Rural Education, the legislation in Brazil and the State of Paraná, analyzing the process of closing schools, shows that the same happens throughout the country and that there are several reasons that lead to this process: rural exodus, lack of public policies for the countryside, difficulty in access to school, school transport policy, among others. It is noted that many were the achievements of the Education of the Field, with laws, opinions, guidelines that lead to the autonomy of the School School, in the elaboration of school calendar, Pedagogical Political Project and own curriculum that must be built with the help of the community. where the school is located. It is identified that the State of Paraná has advanced in favor of Rural Education, with debates, teacher training, preparation of didactic material among others. However, it can be seen that in this state the Country Schools are still being closed, that the lack of public policies for the rural population contributes to the rural exodus, as a consequence an increasingly empty field and closed Country Schools. It is observed that in the “Núcleo Regional de Educaçao de Laranjeiras do Sul”. there were no closed schools, on the other hand there are schools with a low number of students that are in the process of closing. It is believed that closing school is a crime because it impacts the community, students, families, school members. Faced with the closure of schools, the community, political leaders, the press must be communicated so that together they can find a solution and justifications for not closing the school.
