| Resume: | O presente trabalho tem por objetivo fazer um resgate histórico da formação do Movimento Tradicionalista Gaúcho (MTG) e da criação da figura da prenda. E, a partir destes, revelar como a música gaúcha contribui na disseminação da imagem de mulher ideal que o MTG propôs. Este trabalho foi realizado por meio de pesquisa bibliográfica e por meio da análise de algumas músicas que fazem parte do universo tradicionalista. Ao fim da pesquisa, chegou-se à conclusão de que algumas músicas colaboram na cristalização da prenda como mulher submissa e vinculada ao espaço doméstico, que tem a beleza como principal e único atributo e que é submetida e deve aceitar a violência que o companheiro pode vir a apresentar, já que este é bruto por natureza. Também observou-se que em algumas poucas composições a mulher aparece como dona de sua história, lutando e defendendo a vida. São canções que procuram desconstruir a antiga figura da prenda e formar uma nova imagem, que representa a mulher guerreira que luta por seus direitos. |
| Abstract: | The present work aims to make a historical rescue of the formation of the Tradicional Gaucho Movement (MTG) and the creation of the prenda’s figure. And by those, reveal how the gaucho music contributes in the dissemination of the image from the ideal woman that the MTG proposed. This work has been carried out by bibliographic research and through the analysis of some songs that are part of the traditionalist universe. In the end of the research, it was concluded that some songs collaborate to the crystallization of the prenda as submissive woman ad linked to the domestic space, who has the beauty as principal and only attribute and who is submitted and must accept the violence that her companion may presents, since he is gross by nature. It was also observed that in a few compositions the woman shows as head of her own history, fighting and defending life. They are songs that seek to deconstruct the old figure of the prenda and to form a new image that represents the warrior woman who fights for her rights. |
