A educação ambiental nas escolas indígenas

Abstract

The main objective of this work is to analyze signs and nuances of the existence of an Environmental Education from the systematic study of the Political Pedagogical Project (PPP) of the State School of Basic Education Tãnhve Kregso, from Aldeia Capinzal.We tried to highlight, through the research, the characteristics of the main aspects related to the environmental issue in the school of the local indigenous community. The methodology used in this work has a technical approach of bibliographic and documental research. The study provides a reflection on the relationships between the parties involved in the context of Environmental Education, intending to understand how the concepts inherent to this theme are inserted in the school community, when problematizing the issues involving the human being, nature and its complexities, emphasizing the role of indigenous peoples in preserving the environment. We also tried to highlight the struggle of these groups to maintain their origins, customs, and beliefs, which, due to the influence of the white man, since Colonial times in Brazil until today, have undergone contradictory transformations. With this, the study proposed to demonstrate the importance and relevance of the participation of all those involved in this process, so that, in the set of ideas, it is possible to build and institute a mentality of awareness around the proposal of a problematizing education, while justifying a direct relationship with the environmental issue in all its comprehensiveness.
