Concepções dos professores das escolas estaduais da cidade de Planalto - PR sobre a utilização de modelos didáticos como ferramenta para o ensino de genética

Abstract

The discipline of Biology is often listed by students as highly complex, and the lack of varied methodologies for their teaching makes it difficult for students to learn, especially in genetic contents. This work aimed to analyze the importance of the use of didactic models for the teaching of genetics in the view of the biology teachers of the state schools of the municipality of Planalto-PR. Three didactic models were constructed on contents listed by the teachers, and these were applied in the classroom. The reports show that the models were valid as didactic strategies, they helped in the understanding of the students and made them more participants in the classes, showing that the use of didactic models for the teaching of genetics facilitates teaching-learning.
