Agroecologia e o ensino interdisciplinar em ciências da natureza na licenciatura em Educação do Campo

Abstract

This work intends to discuss the understanding of Agroecology and its approach to Rural Education, more specifically in the Teaching of Natural Sciences. Discussing the Agroecology category means taking into account its links with the subjects that produce its social, cultural, economic and political existence in the countryside, but also the theoretical and practical confrontations, the social, agricultural and fragmented and linear hegemonic science conception. The objective of this research is to critically analyze how the Curriculum Components of the "Nature Sciences" area of the Interdisciplinary course in Rural Education: Natural Sciences are articulated with Agroecology, as a formative matrix of Rural Education a from the Pedagogical Project of the Course (2019) and the Teaching Plans of CCR Biology, Physics and Chemistry. As for the methodological aspects, it presents a qualitative approach, with regard to data collection procedures, developing a bibliographical and documentary research, considering the theoretical framework and the analysis that we performed in the aforementioned documents. As the main results found, we can say that, in the documents, we perceive an intrinsic intertwining of Agroecology with Rural Education, however, the relationship of Agroecology with the Science of Nature is openly and in a process of collective construction between the areas of knowledge, therefore, there is the challenge of advancing dialectically in the strengthening of these ties between what is prescribed and what is practiced. We conclude that, conceptually, Agroecology is meticulously placed in this study as a way of making science in dialogue with traditional and scientific knowledge, articulated with Rural Education and propositions that we think are relevant to Agroecology as an object of study in the field of Science from nature.
