História da educação no município de Entre Rios do Sul

Abstract

This paper discusses the history of education in the municipality of Entre Rios do Sul, with emphasis on rural education, from the construction to the closure of municipal schools in rural areas. To understand this process, it was formed in time and in the legislation in order to identify advances and setbacks during this period. To this end, social and economic factores were addressed, giving special attention to the arrival of the first settlers, the inauguration of the Rio Passo Fundo Hydroelectric Plant, the political and administrative emancipation of the municipality and more recente numerial data. The research is based on the 14 rural schools that existed in the municipal territory during the 1990s and, through it, it was realized that, wich the rural exodus, only one still carries out its activities and the others were closed over the years. In addition to Reading several books focused on education, research was carried out in the newspaper A Voz da Serra, in the municipality of Erechim, in to the final minutes and documents of the schools that are filed with the Entre Rios do Sul Department of Education.
