dc.description.abstractThe present research takes the inclusion of deaf students in regular education as a theme, aiming to identify how current literature and educational policies describe the inclusion of deaf students in regular schools. This is a bibliographic and documentary research, with a qualitative approach and descriptive character in the analytical treatment of sources. The results show that the search for the realization of inclusive proposals stands out in relation to deaf education, based on three main focuses: 1) the recognition of Libras as a means of instruction for deaf people in common education; 2) bilingualism as the most suitable proposal for deaf education; 3) the learning conditions of deaf students in common education. It is concluded that deaf education based on the bilingual proposal is capable of promoting the inclusion of deaf people in common education.pt_BR
dc.description.resumoA presente pesquisa toma a inclusão de alunos surdos no ensino comum como tema, com o objetivo de identificar como a literatura atual e as políticas educacionais descrevem a inclusão de surdos na escola comum. Trata-se de uma pesquisa de cunho bibliográfico e documental, com abordagem qualitativa e caráter descritivo no tratamento analítico das fontes. Os resultados mostram que a busca pela efetivação de propostas inclusivas ganha destaque frente a educação de surdos, a partir de três focos principais: 1) o reconhecimento da Libras como meio de instrução de surdos no ensino comum; 2) o bilinguismo como a proposta mais adequada para a educação de surdos; 3) as condições de aprendizagem do aluno surdo na educação comum. Conclui-se que a educação de surdos pautada na proposta bilíngue é capaz de propiciar a inclusão de surdos no ensino comum.pt_BR
