Educação ambiental: concepções e perspectivas na formação continuada de professores municipais na Região Sudoeste do Paraná

Abstract

The present study is based on environmental education in the continuing training of municipal teachers in southwest Paraná. The methodology is qualitative in nature, with bibliographic research on legislation and guidelines on environmental education. Through the application of a questionnaire with the municipal secretaries of education, school managers and municipal teachers sought to understand how municipalities are performing the continued training of teachers, the presence/absence of topics related to the environment and their conceptions and perspectives. This study also investigates Environmental Education in the continuing training of teachers knowing how it is worked in the training that teachers have had, and whether it prepares them to work in the classroom this theme. The development of the research involved the nine municipalities closest geographically to UFFS-Realeza. With the survey of these data makes it possible to build new strategies and possibilities of the Federal University of the Southern Frontier (UFFS) to contribute to the continued training of teachers in the region, and consequently, for better training of graduates.
