Title: | O processo de alfabetização científica nos anos finais do ensino fundamental: um estudo de caso |

Resume: | Neste trabalho apresenta-se um estudo de caso sobre perspectivas e possibilidades da ocorrência da Alfabetização Cientifica – AC a partir da metodologia do Educar pela Pesquisa e do enfoque Ciência, Tecnologia e Sociedade – CTS no ensino de Ciências do Colégio Estadual Princesa Izabel, Ensino Fundamental, Médio e Normal. A pesquisa realizada é qualitativa tipo exploratória com categorias elencadas a priori. O trabalho teve como objetivo constatar a presença da Alfabetização Cientifica, da metodologia do Educar pela Pesquisa e do enfoque CTS na sala de aula. Para este fim foi realizada entrevista com os professores de Ciências do referido Colégio e análise dos documentos norteadores do processo de ensino aprendizagem: Diretriz Curricular da Educação Básica de Ciências - DCE, Projeto Político Pedagógico – PPP e a Proposta Pedagógica Curricular – PPC de Ciências. O presente estudo justifica-se pela possibilidade de compreender sobre a abordagem elencada em âmbito documental e da sala de aula percebendo se ocorre a AC atrelada ao Educar pela pesquisa e ao enfoque CTS. Considera-se que a partir dos documentos analisados bem como as situações de ensino aprendizagem descritas pelos professores que há carência de conceitos sobre os temas elencados, bem como a necessidade da abordagem de tais temas em formações continuadas e a necessidade de reformulação dos documentos pedagógicos, a fim de que contemplem de forma mais clara as questões referentes a Ciência, Tecnologia e Sociedade o que poderá contribuir para que o ensino da disciplina de Ciências seja um elemento emancipatório. |
Abstract: | This paper presents a case study about the perspectives and possibilities of the occurrence of the Scientific Literacy – AC from the methodology through the Educating by Research and the Science, Technology and Society – CTS approach in the teaching of Sciences of the State School Princesa Izabel, Elementary School, Medium and Normal. The research is qualitative exploratory type with categories listed a priori. The aim of this work was to verify the presence of the Scientific Literacy, the methodology of Educating for Research and the CTS approach in the classroom,. To this end, an interview was conducted with the Science teachers of the said College and analysis of the guiding documents of the teaching learning process: Curricular Guideline of Basic Education of Sciences – DCE, Political Pedagogical Project – PPP and Curricular Pedagogical Proposal – Science PPC. The present study is justified by the possibility of understanding about the approach listed in the documentary and classroom context, noting if there is a CA linked to Educate by the research and the CTS approach. It is considered that from the documents analyzed as well as the situations of teaching learning described by the teachers that there is a lack of concepts on the topics listed, as well as the need to approach such topics in continuing formation and the need to reformulate the pedagogical documents, so that they contemplate in a clearer way the questions related to Science, Technology and Society which can contribute to the teaching of the discipline of Sciences being an emancipatory element. |
