Abstract

The present research intends to demonstrate that, despite all the transformations that have taken place within the theoretical and methodological perception of historiography, the historiographical narrative continues to reproduce writing structures originating from markedly androcentric traditions. From the solid epistemological foundations built by a male canonical body, which comprised the production of scientific knowledge based on the total elimination of the subjectivity of the researcher, as well as its partiality, the central hypothesis of the work is in the contributions of feminist epistemologies as a way of thinking about the writing of history that does not perpetuate the masculinist patterns that guide the way we give history. Recognizing the plurality of feminist epistemological theories, I opt specifically for the contributions of Donna Haraway, with regard to the idea of situated knowledge, and Sandra Harding, thinking of standpoint theory as a form of democratization of knowledge, taking the point of view of situated subjects as a point of view. on the sidelines, as an epistemic privilege. Therefore, from a theoretical and bibliographic review, I will analyze the historical process of the narrative within the historiography, starting from the positivist influences of the 19th century to the contributions of Hayden White, as well as bringing historical aspects that indicate the female invisibility within the historiographical constitution. . Then, I will bring the theoretical aspects that make up the feminist epistemology of the two aforementioned authors and the understanding of identity politics, thinking about the subjects located in a location of oppression.
