Gestão de cooperativas agrícolas: estudo bibliométrico dos artigos publicados no Google Acadêmico entre os anos de 2011 a 2021

Abstract

Agricultural Cooperatives are relevant in several contexts in Brazilians’ reality, as they allow small and large-scale rural producers to have access to good management, purchase of agricultural inputs, product disposal, and specialized and efficient advisory. Thus, understanding the dynamics of this activity field becomes fundamental. With that in mind, this paper aims to elaborate the bibliometrics of scientific studies on the theme of Management of Agricultural Cooperatives between 2011 to 2021, in the Google Scholar database. For this purpose, the historical context of cooperatives was described, as well as the emergence, organization, and development of the Agricultural Cooperative Movement. Thus, a bibliometric, quantitative, exploratory, and descriptive research was carried out, which showed the quantification of works on Agricultural Cooperatives, published in the Google Scholar database, revealing that the predominant methodological aspects are qualitative and that the authors sought to discuss topics such as management and interest of members, issues that require their opinion, thus requiring a qualitative analysis of the generated data during the paper. It is expected that this study can be used as a source for future research on this topic.
