Análise do perfil estudantil-profissional dos egressos do Curso de Graduação em Engenharia Ambiental e Sanitária da UFFS – Campus Cerro Largo/RS

Abstract

The present work aims to evaluate the profile of students who graduated from the Environmental and Sanitary Engineering course at UFFS by the correlation between the applicability of the internship during the course and post-graduate employability. The analysis of the course history and its fields of application in the job market, as well as conducting a surveys of the graduates census and their areas of activity reflect on issues to be periodically verified, such as the quality of the course offered, the opportunities provided with the related programs, the profile of the graduates and the ease of immersion and practical work in the area. The data were obtained through background information about the course, as well as technical data and numbers. The raw data on the graduates census were obtained from questionnaires generated on a Web platform. The information was analyzed, compiled and processed in this work in order to demonstrate the attainment of the Environmental and Sanitary Engineering course at UFFS, as well as to verify points of development to increase the performance of graduates of this institution in the labor market and manpower in the area under study. The results showed that 50% of the graduates continued in further studies (post-graduation), and approximately 65% are working with in the positions obtained up to a year after graduation. On the other hand, 80% of graduates work in areas other than those chosen for the internship, and 72% believe that the curricular components were partly important in their professional development and employability.
