Logística reversa de paletes PBR: estudo em uma empresa do oeste do estado de Santa Catarina

Abstract

In an increasingly competitive market, companies need strategic planning that includes not only aspects related to the production process, but also addresses social and environmental concerns, such as increased production of waste and scarcity of resources. Public policies define the sharing of responsibility for the product cycle between consumers and producers. Thus, Reverse Logistics plays an important role in the reuse of packaging. Increasingly present in the business environment, Reverse Logistics proposes a set of actions focused on environmental and social concerns, adding value to the product. Therefore, this study aims to present the concept of Reverse Logistics for pallets, as well as to analyze its application in an agroindustry in the west of the state of Santa Catarina. To meet the objective of the study, a qualitative and descriptive methodology was used, in which 3 employees working in the area of Logistics in the agroindustry were interviewed. Through the collection and interpretation of data, it was verified that the agroindustry has a broad system of definitions and controls, however it is noted that failures in the databases that make up this system cause interference in the strategic planning used.
