Currículo escolar e temas transversais: a educação para o trânsito

Abstract

The central focus of this work is to analyze the possibility of including the topic of traffic as a curricular component in schools, more precisely, in primary education, early years (from the 1st to the 5th year), combined with the idea of ​​full-time education. The investigation seeks to address the transformation of traffic over the years, emphasizing the city of Pato Branco/PR in addition to raising discussions pertinent to full-time education, raising legal documentation on the topic and the Brazilian curricular proposal for education in dialogue with traffic education. It also seeks to show that the theme can have a satisfactory development in terms of teaching-learning based on the National Curricular Parameters - PCN's - and the National Education Guidelines for Traffic in Elementary Education, especially when inserted in the Pedagogical Political Project of schools.
